this week in English we have been knee deep in our exhibition inquiry project and throughout the week the different ideas and commentary's have formed between me and my group. Denzel, a group member, was absent Thursday due to orthodontic care and our presentation is set for Monday. viewing the other presentations has helped reassure myself in the presentation and notice key thing i like that i would integrate into my own presentation as well as dislikes that i would shy away from

this week during English class we worked primarily on our inquiry project. wrapping up the year we have gone through our three books and learned that the individual topics although they are directly related are each vast in there own point to a severe extent, as much as ray Kersweils work relates to me and is "exponentially" impressive i think i will be laying low on that particular brand of the science and technology community for a while. the school year is drawing more and more to a close and the excitement is palatable. the lucid dreaming text is a little more ration and reason than actual information, i think the writer should have known is audience slightly more before he wrote the text understanding that those who would buy the book are already interested in the concept and need no further convincing, other that that it is a good solid text.

this week in English we finished our 12th night project and filming. as director and an actor i was slightly torn in film flow wile i tried to maintain good scene coordination. all in all i am pleased with the final product of the movie and am glad we got some good bloopers along the way. i was under allot of pressure this weekend completing 23 hours of community service with wounds to show for it =/. i have started to volunteer at a dental charity for women convicts and children which i am slightly happy about because i really enjoy the field and the more experience i can acquire the better.

This week in English we finished up 12th night and continued our watching of the movie remake "She's the Man". In the text I was very interested in the different mindsets and characters and how they where portrayed and interacted with each other, allot of the dialogue showed the mindset of the age and Shakespeare’s thoughts. The movie was also entertaining but was more suited for that purpose, to entertain, as it was strongly suited on the comedy side of the play in the new decade.

We recently watched Emma, the romantic comedy version of the renown Jane Austin book. This revamped old globe show was both entertaining and inspireing production with equally entertaining croud reactions. Most of the first act I must warn you is a little thick and if you are one of the no musicals or give me death kind of people, your Going to have to try and stick it out. Well worth the ticket stub in my opinion as most old globe shows, if your not a member its an easy way to save money if you watch theater often.

This Week in English we reqserched our topics and read, continuously throughout the singularity is near by ray kerswiel is speaking on behalf of the different rhombus and effects of well, the singularity. So far in the text kerswile has spoken about the ability to be able to make productions on future events and there validity when it comes to this particular event. The singularity being such a significant event that seeing past this change in lifestyle is incredibly difficult. This "even horizon" as he calles it, although difficult to see through is not impossible as he explains. I look forwored to the text to become more straight forwored as kerswiel try's to make sure the reader understands his point be expelling it again and again to a repetitive amount.

Beowulf has been the renown subject in English lately as we progress with the Anglo Saxon theme most likely in aid for the so lit exam. I personally thought it was a quaint little tail and was impresses by it, as well as SAMs unique accent portrail. Another large theme portraying around school is the battle of wits between classmates, this " epic " conflict has been taking place on none outher than the chess board. Such a gathering this had drawn it has even revived the chess x-block taking place one again in wills room. The matches have been interesting to say the least as a chess player. Myself mason and Stefan seem to be the higher ranking Players among the class, althogh I have made significant progress vs. Mason the score currently being 4-2 in my favor I seem to be having trouble against Stefan 1-1-1 being the recoded which is ironic as mason tends to do favorably well when pitched against Stefan.

New year post
Start of a new year and another semester of school. Wondering what books I shall choose and what I want to do for my ender session. Government class not as bad as I thought it would be bit doesn't fill my hopes either, got to take the good with the bad I guess. Just got the new iPhone 4 for cristmass so that's Pritty cool, all my life I have has really bad phones not seeing the need for a "fancy" one and now I'm a little enlightened. Ironic enough this entire blog post is being written on my phone, on the web, instantainiously. Hopefully this will jelp me compete and comment on these in an orrery fashion because god knows I didn't finish all these last semester. Stoked about art class as well, wasn't a super fan of multimedia, only with I was as good of an artist as jermey is teacher. Almost forgot, I got this "bomb-tastic" app from the makers of inception the movie that is quite amazing, uniquely difficult to describe at the moment but if You got iso 4.0 or better I highly recomend. Well that's all for now I guess, later.

“Most Beautiful Work Award” - i enjoyed writing all of the essays for the books in class. i actualy would have preferred to write the last essay because i liked the book much better than the previous one.
2) “Lesson Learned” -i enjoyed getting to read books similer to my interists in stead of having to read one of uniform or suggested to me. because of this me and my girlfriend are forming a "book club" of sorts and are going to read some things over the break. she hasnt read the anne rice novels yet so we will start there.
3) “Lessons I’d Like to Learn” - skills id like to develop more are essay formating and writing skills.

thanksgiving draws to a close
The end of thanksgiving break marks a crucial moment in my life, the separation of family as we all move out of our houses. Brother and sister less my closest kin I can relate to are my cousins who lead very different and quizzical lives. The events each marks as success different from each other, as well as from myself. But still we have fun and hand out and recall good memories, as well as create new ones. Social problems to complex theory cross our conversations and the time passes quickly. Sunday comes and the drive home is long, but now I have a book to whisper stories to me in my spare time.
thanksgiving break
The week drew to an end and I have finished another book and explained my rationale through text. I wish I had more time because, although my paper was lengthy to begin with, had allot more I wish I had the time to cover. Unfortunately that is not how the world turns and I’m on to the next lessen. "Flowers for Algernon" is my next adventure, and I am hopefully this book will be better then the last. This novel comes highly recommended and has received countless praise. The only thing I worry about is the grammatically incorrect nature of the text.

Blog Post #2
-after reading "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep" i was ecstatic to find out the book- witch came out in the 60,s- was made into a movie. -witch came out in 82- called "Blade Runner". unfortunately the movie was horrible. not only was it bad, it was nothing like the book at all. i felt that only the names remained the same between the book and the movie. "director" Ridley Scott found the book a lame excuse to put together a painfully futuristic film noir staring Harrison Ford and effectively spit on Philip's masterpiece of a novel. somehow the film managed to win several awards and get nominated for both the academy awards and the golden globes. maybe the film isn't worthless but it is the opposite of the book witch ruined it for me.
Blog Post #1
- finished my book a while back. I enjoyed the book allot and was very enthralled in the text often before I went to sleep. Unfortunately the book was very short and saw its end in only a few hundred pages. It’s an amazing thinker book as well as an escapist book that will draw emotions out of those who see life perceptively. The book is about a bounty hunter who instead of killing or arresting humans is tasked to "retire" faulty androids who have murdered there owners and fled to earth. the androids themselves have become more intelligent and human like than ever and the book become especially interesting when he finds it harder and harder to morally kill the increasingly human like androids. without giving away too much of the book, (Kyle highly recommends), he falls in love with one of the functioning company robots only to find out that he must "retire" an android with the same look as the one was with.
